Since 2022, we have taken part in a wide range of activities that empower individuals and communities allowing them to better communicate with their medical providers.  Our volunteering initiative has proven to be a powerful tool for Medical Interpreters @ Penn to successfully serve our community and improve the care many members of our community get. You can find more detailed information about the work we do under our Projects page.

Training

Our training program is based on the premise that patients understanding of their care is vital. At Medical Interpreters @ Penn, we prepare our members so that they may provide patients with the best interpretation possible.

Mentoring

We understand our members come from different walks of life and are all at different points in their careers. Not only do we strive to be an inclusive community but we also wish to provide valuable mentorship advice whether that be from upperclassmen, grad students, or professionals within our network.
